For the past fifteen years, I’ve been building, overseeing, and leading technology projects for companies including American Express, Apple, Discover, MasterClass, Peloton, SoFi, and Zocdoc.

I’ve launched many web and mobile digital products for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups alike, including Webby Award-winning work.

- Modern client-side applications (SPAs) using JavaScript and TypeScript, using frameworks including React and Vue and related technologies (e.g., Next.js, Redux)

- Traditional server-side and microservice architectures using Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, and Go, and their more popular frameworks

- Native and non-native mobile development for iOS and Android platforms

- Cloud infrastructure and services, including self-service (AWS, Google Cloud) and full-service (Netlify, Vercel), as well as platforms for content delivery, monitoring, logging, analytics

- Fundamentals of DevOps, CI/CD, bundling, testing, i18n, security, compliance, and performance optimization

Open to independent contractor (freelance) positions.

There are well-known furniture makers in the middle, including Room & Board and Stickley. Consider this Bogleheads thread: https://www.bogleheads.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=327476

Are you sure? I'm a Mastodon newbie, but the docs suggest neither the "local domain" nor the "web domain" can be changed once set:

> As with LOCAL_DOMAIN, WEB_DOMAIN cannot be safely changed once set, as this will confuse remote servers that knew of your previous settings and may break communication with them or make it unreliable.

https://docs.joinmastodon.org/admin/config/#local_domain

They also recommend a "301 Moved Permanently" implementation.

> You don't even need to engage in that debate at all. Github doesn't allow porn on its platform.

The parent is referring to URLs, not the content itself. e.g., Popular network-filtering blocklists hosted on GitHub do include URLs to porn. That seems sensible.

For one, block lists include hostnames, not links to specific pages.

For two, block lists aren't meant to be browsed. Lists of swears and slurs are necessary to provide libraries that can offer content moderation features, but the individual words probably violate some ToS. But if you use some of those slurs in your wiki, you're no longer offering functionality, you're just writing offensive stuff. Intent matters.

Many library systems do not provide Kanopy to their patrons (such as the New York Public Library), and some participating libraries only offer a subset of the "available" titles. So even if you have access to Kanopy with your library card, you can click "Play" on a title only to discover it's not available to you.

Honda charges $15, or your local dealership charges $15? Given cars are selling well above MSRP these days, I don't think manufacturers dictate fixed prices to dealerships.
